A VERY SPECIAL NOTE FROM OUR HEARTS TO YOURS
Good morning, everyone -
Here at "Christian Voices", a top priority is to reach out to as many people around the world as possible. This is so important to us that we believe it warrants this "special note". We hope you will agree!
Economies of countries around the world are experiencing serious problems. Unemployment rates are very high and yet the number of available jobs still continue to decrease. People are starving. We have experienced some of the world's worst storms during the past year. There have been gigantic earthquakes, tsunamis, extensive flooding, and other strange and unexpected weather phenomena. And wars continue.
We're not so naive as to think that "Christian Voices" can solve these problems or that reading "Christian Voices" will make those problems go away. But, what "Christian Voices" can do is bring a sense of hope by telling people of God's love for us. For those of us who have acknowledged Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, "Christian Voices" offers relief to the stresses of everyday life through inspirational stories and experiences. For people who do not know Jesus, "Christian Voices" brings an introduction to Him through thought provoking articles and inspirational stories. We're not interested in denominational doctrine - we're interested in only being God's children and being obedient to His word. We can have gladness and happiness in our hearts, but those are earthly feelings! Only God can place true joy in our hearts - the joy of knowing that God is in control and regardless of what we may face here on earth, He promises us salvation and everlasting life. Will you help us bring "Christian Voices" to as many people as humanly possible?
There are so many ways you can help. Send "Christian Voices" to everyone in your address book and to those who may not be close enough to you to be in your address book - co-workers, friends, church family, neighbors, relatives, organizational and club associates, sororities and fraternities, and the list goes on. Invite and encourage them to subscribe. Not only may they benefit from reading "Christian Voices", but they in turn may share "Christian Voices" with others.
We do not have a budget to advertise through the media. So it is critical to receive email addresses from you! Yes, we realize that some of you are uncomfortable with sending us email addresses. But, it's an avenue through which we can reach out to many others to send them an "Invitation" to "Christian Voices". In the past week we have sent approximately 3,000 invitations to the email addresses already sent to us. We do not record who sends us what addresses. We simply check all the addresses and remove duplicates, remove those addresses that have been previously contacted (each email addresses is contacted only once), and screen the list to see if they are already receiving "Christian Voices". Then, the remaining addresses are sent an Invitation.
Please send us as many addresses as you can. Many of the messages you receive daily have been forwarded at least once and in some cases many times and all those addresses may be on the email. Simply forward those messages to us or just send us all the addresses - don't worry about cleaning up the lists - we have programs that will do that automatically. Please consider sending us addresses all throughout the year. Just send them to this address.
We didn't intend for this message to be so long. But, it is crucially important for us to reach out to others, and to continue to do so for as long as we are physically able. This is a ministry! Please help us bring some of His "SONshine" into the lives of others.
